I confess to not remember anything for the story of the suicide of prof. Parmaliana, a world expert of Industrial Chemistry, who committed suicide in 2008, jumping from a motorway viaduct at Patti. Tonight on the radio I heard a piece of this story by the author "Montanelli" doc, Alfio Caruso, who recently published a book on the right . Prof. Parmaliana - after contributing to dissolve the municipal council of the mafia for his country in Messina - had been indicted for defamation by his enemies, and perhaps also by what he called, desperate and disappointed, PUS (single party in Sicily.) A recent and disturbing story , beset by a strange silence. However you think about Berlusconi and the Mafia, we must continue to write and talk about it, without ever tiring.
