I'm waiting for this new book from Amazon the two types you see in the video. A further step in demonstrating that the economies of the living power of ideas. This now! First, only a few decades ago, it was necessary to produce things, and before that, 200 years ago, it was necessary to have (and grow) the earth. But the problem investigated by Arnold Kling seems to be more innovative in my simple summary: how to produce and begin to value the ideas? And 'the crucial point here!
The problem is that this argument is all the more true in China and the District of Lumezzane (the one of taps made in Italy), where - as ilsole24ore today - the factories "include" (and the GDP again)! We must fully understand that ideas are not driven out the "stuff", much less put off the inevitable "land" and its increasingly vital natural capital. but the ideas are always the correct fuel.

Here beside the photo of Richard Florida, the American intellectual who wrote "Rise of the Creative Class" in 2002, and that read more to influence a lot of culture in New York for good or evil. For better: when you put the emphasis on the role of knowledge in the social development of our time (.. of course also on a global scale, not only in Manhattan), in evil: he puts the center of world-changing so-called bobos (and bourgeois bohemians, new elites are so dear to the opinion of the New Yorker), as if they were new revolutionary subjects of our time. In fact, I refer to your ' article by David Brooks in the NY Times, Dec. 22 last year, which was translated and published today in the Republic. And 'he just Brooks, the writer-dependent Florida who celebrated the Bobos in Paradise !
Article Brooks, playing once again on "Company of the Protocol or the software (which certainly has replaced that of the rebar) discovers once again the hot water of contemporary creativity and the brain relies on multi-disciplinary team (architects, artists, heretics economists, engineers, biologists, .. all rich, spoiled and urbanized in 4-5 big cities) the task of saving the world. With the recommendation that the economy is dominant today bizarre of intangibles and intangible assets, economists must increasingly look to psychologists. Let's hope so! A U.S. drone costs about 3 million euros, excluding the weapons supplied. But the news does not surprise me! EVEN THINK THE AMERICAN ARMY TO USE THE I-POD IN WAR , exactly as they were VIDEO GAMES.
A point of truth is that modern war using the same standards as civilians widespread ICT. The drones also would be much more useful and convenient applications in civil protection (and so would cost much less) .. but what about the iPOD and iPHONE sincerely suggest other solutions!

Considering the average market prices of the components that the new CUBE include Telecom, 200 €, you could say it's a bargain! As you can see there are a whopping 500 GB, Set Top Box for Digital Terrestrial (but without access to "conditional" to other non-free channels), a comprehensive and advanced video and network interfaces (but not recorded PVR). E ' a cube of 15 cm and weighs 1.4 kg, for an introductory price to compete. It seems that links in wi-fi and then you move it around at home .. IS ', ALL BEAUTIFUL, BUT YOU NEED NO ACTUAL BROADBAND?
It 'just wishful thinking by Franco Bernabe, but Italy has not decided (I think) as a few days ago, Sarkozy in France to invest almost EUR 5 billion in broadband. So what? W IPTV, but someone has to explain two things:
a) because Telecom continues to think about making the media company, through its "own" WebTV, with only LA7 .. apart from the recent statements of prudent Bernabè (c 'is the risk of garden-Wallen said? ), b) because the other competitors TLC is not angry and maybe not really think of other interfaces AIR-access (but there would be with the band hopes to Mobile Internet ..)?
I HOPE THAT THE CUBE IS GOOD FOR ACCELERATING FORCING ALL-TOGETHER (sic) THE TRANSITION TO PREREQUISITES IP-TV, THEREFORE Fan NEUTRAL INVESTMENT AND RULES FOR THE NEXT GENERATION INTERNET.

For example, more and more we became convinced today that the various wireless terminals (and mobile) we have-in the different modes, frequencies and application scenarios - in the end could well be reunited in the form of simple hardware devices (SDR platforms) that are always a single "simple" function to receive transmission of bits, with all rules and intelligence programs based on ad hoc, flexible and interchangeable depending on the choice of best communication infrastructure (WLAN, DAB, Satellite, etc..)
And as you can see by this simple block diagram to draw from FLAI (Flexible Air Interface) of a now historic project in the field, the SDR is also designed on the basis of what still has to come .. in terms of new tools for multimedia access (Tomorrow's NEW STANDARD ...).
More recently, just thinking about the DVB-SH (ie the TV on mobile phones directly from heaven), or to something that became true only a few months ago with the arrival of new dedicated satellites in orbit, I well remembered FLAI and its promise of simply also intercept these new opportunities. I'm working with the utmost confidentiality .. ..

I am working very modestly with some friends at the French researchers CVIS , which quite simply, tries to make a big step forward the initiative of the EU Intelligence Car, beginning to give intelligence to the transport system that includes cars . So: you try to exchange and to interact in a coordinated, safe and semi-automated information on mobility between the infrastructure, vehicles and travelers. Very ambitious task, but equivalent to the more general challenge to the greening of road transportation.
Among the major problems of this challenge lurks the more insidious (and "always unspoken" in the current world ICT) to enable the Internet Protocol (IP) is the ESPERANTO intercommunication between the cars, roads and Cities', IS ACCELERATING THE TRANSITION TO ADDRESSING IPv6 IPv4 today ... Simply put absolutely need to implement an addressing scheme bigger, or a greater number of Internet addresses (a number that is 2 raised to the power 128esima, not as now only second to the 32nd power). Why? Suffice it to say that while limiting the development of automobiles is quite likely that in 20 years there will be (default) 1.5 billion cars around the world. Considering that all the Internet of things is rampant everywhere in the world (from the products tagged with RFID throughout the distribution chain to the health bracelets in hospitals), with increasing needs for localization also ip (in many cases), must give the electronics of the car of the future at least 3 or 4 IP addresses (static or dynamic has a little .. ) for each half!

After three years, yesterday concluded the study of the project system Efforts, led by the Italian company D'Appolonia, with a lot ideas of right and good.
Sure, it's not great demonstrators, but the beauty of Efforts , as a European research project is to draw a common way for some topics that are often underestimated (the environment and workplace safety, among many others) that here in Italy we have to establish as "desires", often with outlandish architecture consortia "Search", which always revolve around the usual unresolved Italian ports. Maybe disregarding what has already been made good, and re-presentation "to finance" verbatim, "new" development goals about things that are already "best practices" established (and this is simply to put in real exercise). Efforts
I've seen in a very good job on different requirements from the usual Italian old story: I hope it is a good straight for a new season of seriousness here too.
As many of my loyal readers know, the agenda of innovation and port logistics incarognendo I'm always more: it is intolerable that the national systems and the Department now legendary Motorways of the Sea will continue to remain dreams, "imaginary," after all our public money largely paid in the jar crammed full of rhetoric and into the pockets of a few privileged companies, which clashes with the apparent poverty of the results ...

Also this year is, therefore, the ranking of the top 1000 most innovative companies on 2 continents of the old triad of R & D (Japan only, however, the fact is not very measurable CHINA!). These exercises are really a bit 'self now and frankly unnecessary : I do not think any serious person can use it to be really strange theorems on how innovation in industrial laboratories worldwide.
Moreover, if one looks at the technical publications (not just academic) on Nature, Science, and in the various sections of the IEEE understands that the Chinese are rampant, and then something is wrong in a statistic at this level. People will say 'well worth THAT CONTINUE TO VIEW THESE STATISTICS FOR CONSISTENCY AGAINST PERIODIC' COMPARISONS OF "OLD". Okay! Definitely some useful information is obtained: eg. that Volkswagen, VW my sympathy!, invests more than anyone else in Europe, much of Finmeccanica and Telecom Italy, and anyway, if you go to take the more intensive sectors HI-TECH, the old Europe - call it what you forbid - does not recover almost nothing about the USA, despite the crisis (this is the slide that carry in article). WAVE, the terracotta tiles OUTDOOR .
The project formalizes the relationship between nature and valuable cultural material, reinterpreting the traditional concept of tile.
The terracotta tile incorporates motifs that define themselves as "naturally" to grow the plants. E 'designed to build internal routes to green spaces, public or private.
